“2025, as Told by Concerts”

I went to fewer concerts in 2025 compared to last year hahaha but let’s be honest, it still wasn’t exactly “few.” I tried to slow down, at least a little, but live music has a way of pulling me back in. Looking back, these concerts became small checkpoints of the year—moments of exhaustion, happiness, and very sore feet. 

Perjalanan konser 2025-ku dimulai hahaha

1. Prambanan Jazz Festival 2025, Yogyakarta - 4-6 Juli 2025
   
   
   
   The real reason ke Prambanan Jazz Festival (PJF) 2025 adalah buat nonton eaJ.
   Oh iya, for the record, I’m a big fan of Park Jae Hyung / Jae Park / eaJ Park / eaJ hehehe.

   Kaya judul acaranya, lokasinya beneran di dalam area Candi Prambanan. The view was magical. I got goosebumps, really.

   Awalnya aku datang ke festival ini sendirian dan cuma beli tiket Day 1 karena eaJ tampil di Day 1—and let’s save the rest of the story for later. Tapi akhirnya aku ke Jogja bareng temen kerja di kantor lama aku. Yeayyy, reunion.

   Di festival ini, aku ketemu banyak teman baru yang baik dan seru huhuhu. Jars (sebutan fans eaJ) beneran baik dan seru banget. This festival wouldn’t have been as memorable without them.

   Secara fisik, konser ini beneran cardio hahaha. Jalannya jauh, berdiri lama, dan of course I was jumping and running during the whole eaJ performance—and even the artists before him too.

   Beneran pengalaman konser yang susah dilupain. I love Jae and Jars 🫂🤗

2. Lalala Fest 2025 - Jakarta - 22-24 Agustus 2025
   
   
   
   One of the best music fest i've attended in my life. It was chaotic, yet it still remain in my core memories.
   
   I went with my two besties (staycation agenda: accomplished). I went for all three days, but on the 1st day i came a little late cause i still have to work - since it was Friday 😭.
   
   Lalala fest was crowded, loud and chaotic - which i honestly liked. With four different stages and performers playing at different times, my friends and I already marked where to go and at what times (since the distance between stages was pretty far).
   
   Hari pertama, kita nonton The Rose (my first time watching them live). Hari kedua, we had more artist to watch, but the one we were waiting for the most was LANY. It was in our bucketlist to watch LANY together to sing Cause you have to and XXL at the top of our lungs LOL.
   
   Hari terakhir, inceran kita semua tentu saja the one and only KESHI - the one who unite us thru his Kults (Keshi's fandom name). Our energy surprisingly still there untill the last day, even tho our voice were completely gone hahaha.
   
   Sore legs and sore throat, but totally worth it!!!
   
   
3. eaJ 1/9 Tour Jakarta, 21 November 2025
   
   
   
   Here it comes—the concert I’ve been waiting for.
   Padahal aku nonton Jae baru Juli lalu, literally cuma beda 3–4 bulan, tapi rasanya kayak kangen banget sama dia.

   Aku juga nonton konser Jae tahun lalu, hehehe, tapi tahun ini beda. Venue-nya lebih besar (sekitar 3.000 capacity), dan honestly aku terharu dan bangga banget sebagai fans. Jae tuh mau di konser atau festival selalu all out. Dia bakal sebisa mungkin nyamperin fans dari ujung ke ujung, jadi mau di kategori apa pun, rasanya selalu worth it.

   Yang bikin beda, kalau konser sendiri tuh vibes dekatnya lebih kerasa. Energi Jae sama Jars kalau udah di konser tuh kayak nyatu banget.

   Aku masih keinget banget momen pertama dia masuk. Literally di kepala aku cuma, “wow, he’s really good-looking and tall” dan “wow, he’s so kind.”
   Aku beneran merinding pas dia bawa spidol aku dan kaos merchandise konser yang aku beli buat dia tanda tangan. Huhuhu.
   “Jae kamu teh baik banget… mau jadi milikku aja nggak?” 🥲

   Terus I can’t help but sing along through all the songs hahaha. My fancam is completely ruined by my own voice (sorry).
   
   

   Tapi momen yang bikin aku nangis adalah waktu Jae nyanyi “Will I Ever”, yang baru dibawain live untuk kedua kalinya. Liriknya terlalu relatable—raw and honest.

   Bayangin lagi capek sama kehidupan, terus dinyanyiin:
   “Will I ever be enough? Will I ever be okay?”
   Like… ini tuh perasaan yang kita semua rasain nggak sih, guys? 😭😭😭

   A lot of things happened that night.
   I went home tired, empty, and full at the same time (iykyk).

4. Spotify Wrapped Live Indonesia 2025, 4 Desember 2025
   
   
   
   Kembali lagi bersama aku… dan nonton eaJ lagi untuk ketiga kalinya di tahun ini.

   Alasan aku ngotot banget pengen nonton acara ini sebenernya simple tapi sedih huhuhu (nangis). Jae sempat bilang sendiri kalau dia belum tahu kapan bisa ke Asia lagi—either untuk solo concert atau festival. Dia mau fokus bikin musik yang lebih bagus dan fokus di US dulu, karena cost-wise lebih reasonable since he lives in LA.

   Soooo yaaa… aku mutusin buat nonton lagi, meskipun tahu dia cuma bakal nyanyi satu atau dua lagu hehehe. Tapi at least, aku udah nonton dia sebelum kita LDR hahahaha (takut dimarahin Jae karena terlalu parasocial).

   Besides that, Jae is literally my top artist on every music platform I use. And of course, my top songs are When the Rain Stops and Ruin My Life.

   And yeah, Jae eventually wrapped my whole music fest and concert journey this year—and honestly, I’m not complaining at all hahaha.

These concerts weren’t just about the music. They became small chapters of my year—shared with friends, strangers, and songs that stayed longer than the nights themselves.
